The goal is to be the first player to use all your tiles by creating interconnected words. The game comes in a distinctive banana-shaped pouch and is known for its portability and quick gameplay.
To play Bananagrams, start by placing all tiles face-down in the center (called "the Bunch"). Each player draws a set number of tiles: 21 tiles for 2-4 players, 15 tiles for 5-6 players, or 11 tiles for 7+ players. When someone says "Split!", everyone flips their tiles and begins building their own grid of connecting words. When a player uses all their tiles, they call "Peel!" and everyone must draw another tile from the Bunch. If you get stuck with difficult letters, you can call "Dump!" to exchange one tile for three new ones. The first player to use all their tiles when the Bunch has fewer tiles than players wins by calling "Bananas!"
A standard Bananagrams set contains 144 letter tiles.
